Office Administrator

We are looking for an additional Office Administrator to help keep the office, retail store, and aquatic greenhouse running smoothly. Answer phone calls and take messages. Occasionally help customers in the small retail store on site. Data entry and basic office duties.

 

Qualifications:

Preferred but not mandatory : Experience in Microsoft Office, data entry, retail services, and customer service. Good verbal and written communication skills required.

Willing to train the right candidate.

Pond & Lake Technician

Survey and maintain pond & lake ecosystems by monitoring, collecting, and testing aquatic parameters. Prepare reports and discuss with clients. Implement management plans for ponds and lakes. Research and collect data on environmentally friendly solutions.

Qualifications:

Preferred but not mandatory, a bachelors degree in either Aquatic Biology, Fisheries, Natural Resources, Limnology or related. Prefer experience towing a boat but willing to train the right canidate. Good verbal communication skills required. Must receive a Wisconsin Aquatic Commercial Applicators License during the training period.

Staff Biologist

Assist Staff Biologists with pond & lake management services. Includes: controlling exotic species, fish stocking, native plant restoration projects, installing aeration systems, water quality analysis, implementing management plans to balance a pond or lake ecosystem.

Qualifications:

Ideally, candidate is energetic, able to lift heavy objects, enjoys working outside, and can handle making responsible decisions. Prefer candidate is involved in Biology coursework or related. Experience with boats and tools a plus. Must receive a Wisconsin Aquatic Commercial Applicators License during the training period.
